Chris Copeman
Principal Vet
Chris graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1994. His special interest is Orthopaedics, and his hobbies include canoeing, rock climbing, running, and hill walking. Chris is always accompanied by his dog Tara who he took home from the RSPCA, now she spends her days watching over the practice and chasing the hoover!
 
Edyta Albera
Edyta is originally from Sandomierz in Poland but has lived here in England since 2008. She graduated from the University of Life Science in Lublin in 2005 and also holds a PhD in Biochemistry. She especially enjoys soft tissue surgery and internal medicine. When she is not at work she is home looking after her son, Adam. Edyta is very athletic and loves playing Volleyball & swimming.
Liz Farrimond
Liz graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 1990. Her special interest is Soft Tissue Surgery, and her hobbies include looking after her 2 children and husband! She has a young Lhasa Apso named Tinkerbell.
 
Michele Turner
Michele graduated from Dublin in 1986.
Her special interests are Surgery and Dentistry, and her hobbies include canoeing, diving, and hill walking. She has two Tibetan terriers named Sparky and Sally and a cat named Colin who was brought into our Golborne Surgery as a stray.
Your Veterinary Nurse Assistants
 
Lisa Fenn
Lisa is our most experienced nurse and has been working at the practice for over 5 years. She has a Springer Spaniel called Zaki who goes everywhere with her. Lisa holds an NVQ L2 in Animal care and is currently in her last year of training to be a fully qualified registered veterinary nurse.
 
Bridget Flynn
Bridget has worked with us for over 3 years and has a degree in Animal Behaviour from Liverpool John Moores University. She has two Bengal cats called Boris & Che and a rabbit which was handed in at the surgery who she took home and named Bigwig. She also adopted a Staffordshire Bull Terrier named Tess, after falling in love with her whilst trying to find her a home. Bridget is also in her last year of training to become a qualified veterinary nurse.
 
Jennie Harter
Jennie has been with us since May 2009. She is a qualified and experienced behaviourist with a degree in Animal Behaviour & Welfare. She has a lurcher named Meg, a spaniel named Keith and two Guinea Pigs named Gordon a.k.a. The Little G (after her Dad a.k.a. The Big G) and Dave.
 
Amanda Carter
Amanda joined us in June 2009 after doing voluntary work at the surgery. She currently holds an NVQ L2 & 3 in Animal Care and also L2 & 3 in Horse care. She has a lurcher called Emily, a Jack Russell named Dyson, a Labrador named Charon and has recently rescued a Border Collie named Zak.
 
Megan Griffiths
Megan is the newest member of staff here and has been with us for over 2 years now. She completed an NVQL2 in Animal Care in May 2010. She is kept busy with her horse Danby and Shih tzu Noah.
