Pet Travel Scheme
Please speak to one of our nurses about Pet Passports if you wish to take your pet abroad. It is advisable to visit the Defra website to find out exact requirements for each country. Passports can be issued here, but the process needs to be started at least 2 months before your due to leave the country as there is usually a 6 week turn around for passports.
Pet Insurance
Due to the increasing costs of veterinary treatment, and the number of health problems that your pet could potentially get, we recommend that you get pet insurance. There are many companies to choose from, offering various levels of cover.
